Payment and Refund Policy

Last updated: 06 October 2026

Scope of the policy and the products or services it covers

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of courses and related services offered through starnetworki. The services include professional training in video operation, live signal management, content distribution, camera work, and the creation of high-quality media feeds for news and broadcasting. It covers digital course access, live sessions, recorded modules, and any bundled support materials provided to customers in the United Kingdom.

Prices, currencies, taxes, and any additional charges

All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling. Course fees include applicable Value Added Tax at the current UK rate. No hidden charges apply to standard enrolments. Additional costs may arise only for optional extras such as extended access periods or certification exams, which are clearly indicated before purchase. Currency conversion fees charged by your payment provider remain your responsibility.

Accepted payment methods, payment authorisation, and payment security

We accept major credit and debit cards, bank transfers, and approved third-party payment processors. All transactions are authorised in real time. Payment details are processed through secure gateways that comply with UK data protection standards. starnetworki does not store card numbers or sensitive financial data on its systems.

Order, booking, or service confirmation and when a contract is formed

Upon successful payment you will receive an email confirmation containing your order details and access instructions. A binding contract is formed once payment is received and confirmation is issued. Access to digital content begins immediately after confirmation unless you exercise your cancellation right within the permitted period.

Cancellation rights and applicable cancellation periods

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you have 14 days from the date of purchase to cancel without giving a reason. For digital content, cancellation is not possible once you have started downloading or streaming the material. Services that have been fully performed within the 14-day period cannot be cancelled after completion.

Refund eligibility, exclusions, and non-refundable items or services

Refunds are available for cancellations made within the 14-day period provided no substantial content has been accessed. Non-refundable items include completed live sessions, downloaded materials, and promotional bundles already used. Refunds are not granted for change of mind after the cooling-off period or for failure to meet personal expectations.

The step-by-step procedure and information required to request a refund

To request a refund, contact [email protected] or submit details via the contact form on our site. Include your order number, full name, and reason for the request. You may also write to C10 Alison Business Centre, 39 Alison Crescent, Sheffield, S2 1AS, England or call 0114 360 5060. Requests must be made in writing within the applicable time limit.

Inspection, approval, rejection, and notification of the refund decision

We will acknowledge receipt of your request within five working days. Our team reviews eligibility based on access logs and policy terms. You will be notified of approval or rejection by email within ten working days, with a clear explanation if refused.

Refund method, processing time, and when funds should reach the customer

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing takes up to fourteen days after approval. Bank transfers or card refunds may appear on your statement within three to five additional working days depending on your provider.

Special rules for digital content, subscriptions, services, or promotional offers where relevant

Digital courses and live feeds are treated as digital content. Access begins on confirmation, limiting cancellation rights once streaming or download starts. Subscription renewals follow the same 14-day rule from each renewal date. Promotional offers are non-refundable if the discounted price has already been applied and content accessed.

Failed payments, duplicate charges, chargebacks, and suspected fraud

Failed payments must be resolved within seven days or enrolment will be suspended. Duplicate charges are investigated and refunded automatically upon verification. Chargebacks are treated as disputes and may result in account review. Suspected fraudulent activity leads to immediate suspension and reporting to relevant authorities in line with UK law.

Mandatory consumer rights in the target country that the policy cannot exclude

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, UK GDPR, or the Consumer Contracts Regulations. You retain the right to remedies for faulty digital content or services not provided with reasonable care and skill, regardless of this policy.
